Addax Petroleum Foundation

Addax Petroleum remains committed to ensuring it supports the communities in which it operates. In line with the Corporation’s commitment to charitable giving, and as a response to the expectations of civil society in terms of companies’ increased role in social change, Addax Petroleum established an independent charitable foundation, whose mandate is not limited to Addax Petroleum’s operational locales.

In December 2007, the Corporation registered an independent non-profit foundation in Geneva, Switzerland, to expand its social investment and demonstrate its long-term commitment to sustainable development of projects addressing the root causes of poverty and helping improve the quality of life of underprivileged people in Africa and the Middle East. The Foundation supports programs focusing on four core areas: education, health, community development and the environment.
